Suggestions show up as clean, inline tracked changes. Accept or reject them one at a time, or in bulk. No Compile dance, no exporting to Word, no losing your formatting on the round-trip.
Write anywhere — your manuscript follows you
Browser, phone, or iPad. Every keystroke is saved to your browser as you type and syncs to the cloud when you're online — if your connection drops briefly, keep typing and it'll catch up. The sentence you wrote on the train this morning is exactly where you left it tonight.
Never lose a word
This is the one thing we don't compromise on. Every keystroke saves to your browser before it even syncs to the cloud. Your last 50 versions of every scene are always there to browse, compare, and restore. If syncing ever fails, Pagework tells you straight away — and you can download a local copy of the chapter you're writing, or export your whole manuscript, at any time.

A gentle AI collaborator is on the way — only if you want one. Ask for alternatives to a clunky paragraph and choose the one that sounds like you. Run a consistency check across your whole manuscript — character details, timeline, world rules — and get a plain-language list of what to look at, never a verdict. Ask questions about your own research notes and get answers with citations back to your sources. Generate a character portrait in the style you like, or upload your own. Every AI feature will be opt-in, described rather than prescriptive, and bound by the same promise: your words are shared with our AI provider only when you ask, never used for training, and not retained.
