- Is the Free plan really free forever?
- Yes. There's no trial clock on the Free plan — it's a permanent way to write a novel in Pagework, with the limits listed above.
- What happens if I hit a Free plan limit?
- You'll see an upgrade prompt before you hit a wall — for example, before you can start a second manuscript. Your existing work is never locked or deleted; you just won't be able to add more until you upgrade.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancelling Pro at any time keeps your account active on the Free plan, with your manuscripts and history intact within Free-tier limits.
- Do you train AI on my manuscript?
- No. On any plan. When AI features arrive, your words will be shared with our AI provider only when you ask, never used for training, and not retained. That's a permanent commitment, not a paid feature.
